YoungShip Leadership Summit 2026 - Egypt
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
YoungShipEgypt will host the YoungShipGlobal Leadership Summit in November 2026, bringing together representatives from YoungShipchapters worldwide, maritime leaders, policy experts, and industry partners for a landmark event focused on youth-driven leadership in global shipping and logistics.

Arrival of Delegates
All guests will be welcomed and transferred to their respective hotels
Cultural Experiences (02:00 - 05:00 pm)
Guests can choose to participate in a guided tour of downtown Cairo and the Tahrir Museum with an afternoon tea and treats on a downtown rooftop
Leadership Meeting (03:00 - 06:00 pm)
The leadership meeting will be held exclusively for the YoungShip board and all chapter chairs Opportunity for each chapter to present their country’s progress, share milestones, achievements and discuss challenges and future plans.
Inaugural Cocktail Reception (07:00 - 11:00 pm)
The EG-Leader Event includes panel discussions on a variety of topics related to technology and innovation. These discussions feature experts from different industries and provide insights on the latest trends and developments in the field.
Full Event Agenda - Day 2
Breakfast Hosted by Alexandria Chamber of Shipping (09:00 – 11:00am)
All guests will be welcomed with a breakfast discussion with Alexandria Chamber of Shipping [ACS], the mother chamber that overseas all the various chambers
in Egypt
Keynote & Panel Discussion 1: Next-Gen Trade & Logistics (11:45am - 02:15pm)
This is the first session of the conference where we will have our Keynote Speaker to open up with inspiring words for our attendees
Panel Discussion 2: Leadership in Crisis & Conflict Zones (3:30pm - 4:30pm)
Leadership
in Crisis & Conflict Zones o Session Types: Scenario based simulations and expert-led briefings.
Panel Discussion 3: Green Energy and Sustainable Maritime (5:00pm - 6:00pm)
Equipping young leaders to drive sustainability initiatives in maritime sectors.
Panel Discussion 4: Artificial Intelligence in Transport & Logistics(6:30pm-7:30pm)
Understanding how AI will reshape maritime careers and operations.
Transport to SHEMU (7:30pm-8:00pm)
Buses will be departing the hotel to go to the designated pier for us to board SHEMU for the evening
Cruising Down the Nile Celebrations (08:30pm-11:30pm)
All guests will have the pleasure to hop on the lovely catered Nile cruiser SHEMU, enjoying a night under the Cairo Stars with delicious food, good company
and music.
Full Event Agenda - Day 3
Drive to Ismailia (9:00am-10:30am)
Guests will board designated buses which will drive us to Ismailia, where we will be spending the day with the Suez Canal Authority [SCA], touring their facilities and “possibly” taking a short trip down the canal.
SCA Greeting and Presentation (10:30am - 11:00am)
Tour of the Simulator and Canal Facilities (11:00am-12:30pm)
Trip Down the Canal (01:30pm - 02:30pm)
Drive to Cairo (3:00pm - 4:30pm)
Guests will re-board designated buses which will drive us back to Cairo.
Closing Ceremony Dinner(6:00pm - 9:00pm)
All guests will have the pleasure to hop on the lovely catered Nile cruiser SHEMU, enjoying a night under the Cairo Stars with delicious food, good company
and music.
